McLane SunEast’s 30th Annual Charity Golf Tournament Tees Up Another Year of Miracles

Thirty proved to be the magic number this year. On October 30, McLane Suneast hosted its 30th Annual Charity Golf Tournament supporting its local Children’s Miracle Network hospital, Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, which had celebrated its 30th anniversary just one month before!

McLane has been a strong supporter of CMN Hospitals since 1987 and has helped raise more than $94 million in that time. McLane’s distribution centers around the United States host a number of grassroots fundraisers including golf tournaments, bake sales, employee payroll giving programs and other events.

Like many years before, experienced golfers, as well as first timers, took to the International Golf Course at Omni Orlando Hotels & Resort at ChampionsGate for a great round of golf alongside friends and colleagues, while giving back to a charity near and dear to McLane’s heart.

Creating even more excitement for golfers were the fun ‘swag bags’ and raffle prizes donated by generous companies from Central Florida and beyond. From a 5-pound Hershey bar, to a rolling Yeti cooler, movie tickets to wine baskets and gift cards, golfers enjoyed celebrating in the festivities of the day (photos of some of the prize winners below).

Together, the participants, sponsors and donors to the golf tournament raised more than $18,000 for the kids. Thank you to to the generous sponsors of this tournament, including TSN, Swisher, RAI, Swedish Match, Bolton, Helm and Augustine, Altira Group Distribution Center, Arbon Equipment, Performance Sales, General Mills, Xcaliber International and Bic. We are grateful for partners at McLane Suneast for the hard work and dedication they put into making this annual event a success.
